Grapefruit and Hops Kombucha

Looking for another way to use hops? Here is an easy kombucha recipe inspired by grapefruit sours and local craft beer.

We suggest using an oolong or white tea for this recipe because it will better showcase the complexities of the grapefruit and hops.

Take 1L kombucha through primary fermentation, and when it’s time to remove the scoby for secondary fermentation, toss in 1/8th of a large grapefruit, peel and all, and 1 tbsp of hops flowers. That’s it!

Let it sit and carbonate as you normally would, and strain when you are ready to enjoy.
