Adaptogen Mulled Cider

This sweet holiday recipe is a non-alcoholic option perfect for any Halloween party or get-together. When heated, this cider will fill your house with a warm and spicy aroma, as well as provide a gently energizing boost from the adaptogen herbs it contains.

To make this recipe you will need the following ingredients:

3 cups apple juice

1 cup water

3 cinnamon sticks

1 tsp Siberian ginseng

6 clove buds

3 star anise pods

½ tsp holy basil

½ tsp dried ginger

½ mandarin orange, sliced into medallions (with peel)

Combine all ingredients in a medium pan. Bring to a boil and then reduce to low heat for 30 minutes. Strain and serve.
