What Is Diatomaceous Earth?

Diatomaceous earth is a naturally occurring, soft, sedimentary rock that is crumbled into a fine powder. It contains the fossilized remains of prehistoric organisms called protists. It is high in silica and other minerals, and is often used externally and as a natural pesticide. Diatomaceous earth is sometimes taken internally to help to kill intestinal parasites.  Our food grade diatomaceous earth is sourced from the United States. It has not been treated with high heat, and it contains less than 1% of crystalline silica. The FDA recognizes our diatomaceous earth as safe for consumption.

How to Use Diatomaceous Earth (Common Uses)

Diatomaceous earth can be taken internally as a powder. Diatomaceous earth can also be used topically and for household purposes
