Pink Lotus Tea Blend: A Soothing Herbal Infusion
We hold a deep reverence for botanicals that inspire peace, balance, and a connection to the natural world. One such herb is pink lotus (Nelumbo nucifera), a flower long cherished for its calming, heart-opening qualities. Today, we're sharing a gentle, aromatic pink lotus tea blend that features not only this beautiful flower, but also soothing rose petals and other floral allies.
If you don’t have pink lotus on hand, you can substitute any other variety of lotus that you enjoy. We also offer blue, red and white lotus petals.
The Beauty of Pink Lotus
Pink lotus is a symbol of spiritual awakening and serenity for many people. When used in teas and tinctures, pink lotus is said to support emotional balance and promote deep relaxation. Its delicate petals offer a subtle, floral aroma that pairs wonderfully with other calming herbs.
Crafting a Calming Pink Lotus Tea Blend
This herbal pink lotus tea recipe is intentionally simple, allowing each plant to shine. We’ve chosen herbs that complement pink lotus both in flavor and energetics. Rose, with its uplifting and heart-supportive qualities, adds a gentle floral fragrance and flavor depth. Chamomile and lavender offer additional calming actions, rounding out the blend beautifully.
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons dried pink lotus petals
- 1 tablespoon dried rose
- 1 tablespoon dried chamomile flowers
- 1 teaspoon dried lavender
Preparation:
- Bring 2 cups of fresh, filtered water to a gentle boil.
- Place 2 teaspoons of the pink lotus tea blend into a tea infuser or teapot.
- Pour the hot water over the herbs and cover to keep the volatile oils from escaping.

- Strain and enjoy slowly, mindfully.
This infusion can be enjoyed warm or chilled. A touch of raw honey or maple syrup adds a lovely hint of sweetness, if desired.
