How to Recycle Our Packaging

We believe that working with plants means caring for the earth that they grow in, and we carry that care through to our packaging. Your herbs deserve to reach you fresh and unbroken, so we use sturdy materials that protect them in transit and can return to the recycling stream afterwards.

Where Each Piece Goes

Black Bags

Put them in your Flexible Plastics bin, or take them to a recycling depot.

Mailers

Our mailers are made from recycled material and can be recycled again with other flexible plastics, or taken to a recycle depot.

Envelopes with Packing and Shipping Slips

Our packing and shipping envelopes are attached to the outside of your package and are made of flexible plastic. They can be recycled with other flexible plastics or taken to a recycle depot. 

Your packing and shipping slips are printed on paper, so they can be sorted with your regular paper recycling.

Cardboard Boxes

Some orders ship in a box. Flatten it and sort it with your other cardboard.

Or Use It Again

We make our packaging sturdy enough to be reused. If you would like to keep a bag or box for storage, shipping, or organizing, go ahead. When it has done its job, it is fully recyclable.
